My Story

Education has been the driving force of my entire life. My parents raised my two brothers and I to value and always strive for higher education. I am a first generation Ghanian-American. It has always been God, family, and education. I received a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Loyola University in Baltimore. Later, I went back to school and obtained my associate in nursing from Long Island College School of Nursing in Brooklyn New York. With the drive to strive for more, I returned to school and completed my BSN from Walden University.

My Nursing career has enabled me to reach and educate countless individuals across the lifespan. I have a true passion for meeting individuals where they are and making small lifestyle changes that bring lasting health benefits. Covid–19 was an unfortunate revelation for our community. It exposed the disparities in healthcare, mental health, and education.

My goal as a member of the Willingboro School Board is to help level the playing field. Our children deserve the best education possible. A strong educational foundation will open doors that one person or system can close. I intend to look at the educational system as the patient. Analyze what has worked and complete a root cause analysis for areas that need improvement.

My nursing eyes will be used to uplift each student, parent, and community member. Looking forward to Advancing Together!
